Mesothelioma Compensation

In this case, our client was negligently exposed to asbestos at work and went on to develop mesothelioma which is a fatal asbestos related disease and he sadly passed away.

Although the client’s doctors were certain that he had died of mesothelioma, the insurance company involved refused to pay compensation as no post mortem had been carried out to confirm the condition.

Oonagh used her experience and tough negotiating skills until she recovered £200,000 compensation for the client’s widow.

Asbestosis Compensation

Our client in this case had approached us to help him with a claim for compensation after he was diagnosed with pleural plaques; however before his case was settled the House of Lords ruling was made which meant that compensation was no longer available to pleural plaques sufferers.

Oonagh arranged a further medical for the client and it was then found that he was actually suffering from mild asbestosis which is a compensatable illness. Oonagh recovered £17,500 compensation for the client.
